Does watching bareback porn make you want to not practice safer sex?

I’m not sure, but I’ve always disliked the fact that health promotion campaigns make condom-less sex some sort of ‘forbidden fruit’. The feeling is worse for people who are HIV+, because they know for a fact that they can infect someone if they are not careful. Bareback porn breaks this frame, or way of thinking, it makes it seem like it is somehow more ‘authentic’ as the only ‘natural’ way to enjoy sex. I can see how people might have mixed feelings about safer sex in this case. However, I think both of these frames are egotistical or self-serving. The first one creates individual who only worry about protecting themselves from infections. The second one creates individuals who only worry about pleasing their own desires. In my opinion both make terrible lays, one likes to talk about sex a lot and the other is often not very conscious of the other person’s needs.

Sometimes, wearing a condom can help one or both individuals involved feel safer and consequently feeling more secure can help in letting out that sexual beast hidden within us all. Also, while most condoms do reduce sensitivity – this need not always be a bad thing, especially if wearing a rubber can let you enjoy sex for a longer time. Lastly, you have logistical issues such as condoms make sex less messy. I guess what I’m trying to say is that just like ‘use a condom every time’ is a fantasy that does not appeal to everyone. So is ‘bareback sex’ - it isn’t everything it is made out to be and sometimes it can have irreversible consequences.

The choice is yours to make!!
